Dripping From Head to Toe

This post is something I have been wanting to post for a while. It is from May of 2019 and is the proof to me that God loves me (and you) so much that He will miraculously provide even the silliest of wants.

This video stemmed from the Passage, "How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God!" 1 John 3:1 NIV. I had read it that morning, while I sat and complained (yet again) about everything I didn't have, and He shut me up real quick. I had stopped working and started school to get a degree in Biblical Studies, this was my first year being voluntarily unemployed and all I could do was complain.

This specific word, "lavished", is the visual of being soaked, soaked by a love that pours over the tops of our heads and soaking us completely. This love so grand that it leaves us dripping from head to toe, because of the love of our ABBA. God's love pours over us just as the oil poured over Aaron's head when he was consecrated as the LORD's priest. "It is like the precious oil poured on the head, running down on Aaron's beard, down upon the collar of his robes." Psalm 133:2 NIV. I hope this speaks to you in this season of whatever it is you are going through.
