Spain: My New Home

It is a privilege for me to update and share with you what God has been doing in my life most recently!

As some of you may or may not know, back in September 2015, God called me on to the World Race, a year long journey of traveling to 11 different countries sharing God’s love as a missionary. It was during this experience that God not only changed my life, but also began speaking to me and giving me visions and dreams. I remember during our time in Thailand, God began placing Spain on my heart. I felt, then, that an art school in Spain that I had applied to would be the next step in my journey. I prayed for several weeks but God closed that door. Not long after, God began giving me a clearer vision that combined my passion for arts, missions, and ministering to women.

Since returning home from the World Race in 2016, I have had the privilege of overseeing and leading several missions trips as the Director of Global Outreach at Pure Heart Church in Glendale, AZ. Through the many opportunities our church had to minister and bring hope to many in Mexico, El Salvador and Guatemala, God again had confirmed my heart for women’s ministry. After two years, I knew that God was calling me into a new chapter in my life; one where I can begin pursuing my dreams and passions.

Well, after following His leading and taking the first step out of obedience, God answered! I have applied and been accepted into the Generation 42 Leadership Academy (G42), ​a 9 month leadership training program located in Spain. This program is designed to transform and equip leaders to establish the Kingdom of God around the world.​ I will begin this journey in March 2020! I am fully confident that God will use this opportunity to further prepare and equip me for the vision and calling He has given me. A vision that one day will include an art studio that will provide art therapy sessions for women who will walk through healing, find and embrace their identity in Christ, and discover hope for the future.

As I boldly step out into obedience in God’s plan over this new season of my life, I know that I cannot do this alone. So, I humbly ask for you to consider in joining me in prayer over this new journey. Prayers for myself personally during the entire process, the impact God will have in the community I will learn and grow along with for the next 9 months, and for the endless ways God will be glorified through this journey. I would also like to invite you to be a part of my support team as a financial supporter, if God lays in upon your heart. If you are not able, please join me in prayer for God to release the funds to cover the cost of tuition. ​

As of December 1, 2019, I have currently raised $1,537 and have my first deadline of $5,000 due by March 1, 2020. Though I have a long ways to go to meet my final and complete fundraising goal, I fully and faithfully trust that God will show up in mighty ways!
